What we collect
We do not require an Instagram login. Tool requests may include the public username you type and basic technical data such as IP address, user agent, and timestamps needed for security and rate limiting.
Cookies and local storage
Theme and language preferences may be stored in local storage on your device. StoryViewIG does not store a local list of usernames you search.
Caching
Public lookup results may be cached briefly to improve performance and reduce load on upstream services.
Third parties
Hosting, security checks, and DNS run on Cloudflare. Contact messages are forwarded to the operator through Telegram. When explicitly enabled, Google Analytics 4 receives a query-free page URL and aggregated tool events; searched usernames are not included in those events. Advertising providers load only when advertising is enabled and process data under their own policies.
Your choices
You can clear site preferences in your browser. Use the Contact page for access, deletion, or other privacy questions about a message you submitted.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13 (or the age required in your region).
